What sets MemberHealth apart for groups?
Plan sponsors choose MemberHealth because of our unique approach. We focus on true prescription drug savings through improved health outcomes and enhanced care management. We achieve this by promoting a stronger connection between community pharmacists, their patients and their physicians.
MemberHealth has been highly successful administering Medicare Part D benefits to individuals. We have translated that expertise into retiree group plans that ease the time and complexity plan sponsors associate with Part D.
MemberHealth also believes that there is no single solution to prescription drug benefit management. That is why we work with our clients to analyze and truly understand their needs. We then work jointly to create and implement a customized solution designed to fulfill the specific goals identified.
Clinical
A Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan administered by MemberHealth is designed around the well-documented bond of trust that exists between local pharmacists and seniors. Through our partnership with pharmacists, we help educate patients on choices that often result in lower co-pays and lower overall costs. At MemberHealth, we provide a broad, rich formulary that covers 98% of the top 100 medications taken by Medicare beneficiaries. Our formulary is constantly reviewed and updated to ensure retirees have access to the appropriate medications and physicians have a wide array of therapeutic options.
MemberHealth also continually develops and implements initiatives to improve the quality of care for beneficiaries. Our clinical trials utilize the expertise and cooperation of physicians and pharmacists. Trials MemberHealth has conducted include:
- An initiative to reduce the risk of kidney failure in diabetics
- An initiative fostering medication compliance in HIV patients
Financial
At the core of MemberHealth’s mission is our commitment to administering a prescription drug plan in the most cost-effective manner possible for our clients. Our approach provides clients with full disclosure, passing along savings and delivering a superior ROI. Financially speaking, that’s the MemberHealth difference.
